Bridge The Gap

Performance Physical Therapy

WE HELP ALL ATHLETES AND ACTIVE PEOPLE IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO AREA OVERCOME THEIR INJURIES AND GET BACK TO WHAT THEY LOVE DOING

What Do We Do?

There’s a problem with traditional Physical Therapy clinics.

Too often we see athletes given cookie-cutter exercises, passed off to non-PT individuals for a majority of their rehab, and asked to visit 2-3 times per week for mostly massage and ice.

We believe there is a higher-standard of care.

At Bridge The Gap Performance, we empower those looking to regain their confidence, and improve their physical & mental abilities through a structured multidisciplinary approach to injury rehabilitation and performance.

Every athlete requires a sport-specific and individualised approach to consistency challenge their abilities, no matter where they are at in the rehab process.

We provide less frustration and more results.

Our Why

We help athletes & active people overcome their injuries, return to what they love doing most, and achieve their performance goals.

We are not your typical physical therapy clinic. You will not have a sheet of exercises that you do for endless months, but you will have gym based exercises that challenge you throughout the entirety of your rehab that are easily adjusted to your abilities and goals.

Our 3-Step Approach

  • Step 1: Assess

Being limited by an injury is frustrating and you feel uncertain of what the best plan of action is.

During your first session, we listen to your story, identify the root cause of injury and build you a long term plan of care that is individually tailored to your goals and what you want to accomplish.

  • Step 2: Address

Through 1-on-1 sessions with your Physical Therapist and weekly rehab plans, we’ll show you exactly how to get you back to doing what you love.

We're all about giving you the long term solutions to decrease your pain, build resiliency and prevent your injury from coming back.

  • Step 3: Achieve

Now that you’re out of pain and back to doing what you love, what will you accomplish next?

Health is a journey and we’re here to be your guide to help you reach your full potential and live an active life you love!

What People Are Saying

“I have had 7 knee surgeries and throughout my years at different physical therapy clinics I have never had an experience as I do at Bridge the Gap.

Tommy creates every session to make me feel taken care of and challenged. The 1 on 1 approach and seeing results every time I have stepped into the facility is truly a rewarding and satisfying process.

I am a volleyball coach and I recommend Tommy to all of my athletes. If you want to get better with any injury or just in your performance, then this place is for you. If you’re wanting that 1 on 1 attention into your rehabilitation or sports training journey then quit waiting and contact them! You will not regret it.

I will forever be grateful for the approach taken upon my injuries and my goals.”

“Absolutely Amazing!! I came to tommy with a hurting hip and only having a week until I left for college. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to identify and explain to me what was going on.

He then went on to create a specialized 6 week program for me. A program that will not only help me feel better but progress and strengthen my hips.

Would 100% recommend to athletes as well as anyone experiencing any soreness and pain!”

— Natalie C.

“I’ve seen drastic changes in my athletic performance. I am at my strongest, fastest, and healthiest point of my sports career.

This is easily the best experience I’ve ever had as it has changed my perspective of training from a tedious stressful process to a fun exciting work of motivation.”
